Pusher Anonymous?

all this pusher talk got me thinking... as I was walking on to the court seeing couple of high schoolers hitting the cover off the ball, what is my own style?

didn't think about it when I gave the definition that if you inject pace less than 1/3 of the time in neutral situations you be a pusher.

paid attention to how I actually played during the 2 hours... sure, S&V some times, S+1 some times... but other than that, during neutral I do NOT inject lol... gosh I am a pusher myself.

guys out there as you talk down pushers, you might be a pusher yourself.... do you truly inject pace? or just pushing with pretty strokes? huh?

If people on ttw saw some of the doubles points I played, they'd label me a pusher. There was this one point where my opponent and I hit about 15-30 crosscourt forehands each in a row to each other. At times the angle got sharper as the guys at the net tried to intercept.

To me, players who are hitting neutral balls the majority of time are backboards and use incoming pace for their own pace essentially.

Pushers absorb pace and return more defensively with high arc balls, lobs (sooo maaaannny looooobbbbssss....), or light short balls and drop shots.
