Putting 6 poiny mount on my 2 point crank machine?

I have an Eagnus crank machine that I got for $350 few months ago that has worked for me and has strung 40 or so racquets. Ive only ever had problems early on by my own mistake. So I just bought 2 new ezones and while pulling the crosses that bottom end of the racquet slowy slides in the mount until I clamp the string after pulling. Then again on the other side. I didn't notice this until 5 or so crosses in. And yes I tightened the mounts as much as possible, and continued to tichten them/checl them with every single cross because of the slippage. It was unavoidable. Anyway, I finish the racquet and its about a quarter inch shprt from mains being to much tighter than crosses. I freak out and cut the strings out, racquet regains shape and while I'm relieved I didn't straight up break it I'm devestated thinking I ruined a brand new frame I have been excited for.

So im curious, is my racquet done for (it looks fine now and wasn't extremely misshapen)? And can I take a 6 point mount from a drop weight machine and put it on my crank machine? I'd rather save some money and just use my tension head, stand, and such if I can. Just replace the mounting system. Maybe there is a method to make the 2 point mount actually secure the ezones but currently it's incapable. I would need to jimmy rig some kind of nut on top of the knob to tighten them, and a rubber like pad to put on mount instead of the felt thats on it now.

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind getting a new machine. But if I can just upgrade mount that would be ideal. Also, if anyone has any opinions about the 1000 dollar electric machines on amazon with 0 reviews let me know haha. seems like a scam but it's amazon so at least I believe I could get my money back.

One, your Yonex frames are fine.

Two, there should be some adapters for mounting the frames at 12/6. The curved surfaces of the frame need to curve around the standards at 12/6. You can also cut some thin and small pieces of leather to help hold the frame in place when you tighten down the ‘dogs.’ If you can’t find your adaptors, see if you can order them from Maxline.

Seconded - old leather belt scraps work well for this. I haven't found great rubber that actually sticks to bare metal (assuming you replace the felt). I would also recommend not cranking down on the hold down knob/screw. The mechanical advantage of a screw can very easily crack a hollow throat bridge with normal human force. This goes double if the throat is narrower than the rest of the frame - there'll be an unsupported gap below the frame. Leather scraps are also good for supporting that side. Leather doesn't mar and often deforms less than most rubbers (depends on durometer of the rubber, obviously).

Clean the machine really well. As the machine gets dirty, the racket starts to slide and as the racket slides it polishes the machine more and more. Also are you using 2 machine clamps to string the crosses? If not start.
