And my personal favourite...

The match is over guys, enjoy some Ronnie (LOL).

To those who believed Tsonga would bully Stan with his forehand:
Stan has hit 10 more forehand winners than Jo

Clearly the favourite for the title. More now than ever. Which is a strange position for underdog Stan...

In some ways, him beating Federer on a HC (and not Djokovic, Nadal, or Murray) would mean he deserved this one more than ever if he does in fact win.

I like 4>3 argument, that's very simple.

Nice logic. If that were true, in 2014 I would tell you that Djokovic has to win because Stan had won zero.

Nothing to do with logic, amigo :) Just stating their HC slam count in Roger´s years as Finnish.

I don´t think H2H matters anymore with Federer.

Nah, Stan will bend over for Fed. Book it. Only guy left in the draw who won't fold against Fed is Nadal
I genuinely think the current Federer (post Edberg) is a bad match up for Nadal. He serves huge and plays far more aggressively. He won their only encounter post Fedberg, remember (Basel 2015). Plus all the pressure will be on Nadal being the favourite and due to his H2H advantage and Fed could catch him by surprise. Plus Rafa would be more tired having gone through a far more gruesome draw. So I'd have Federer as the favourite should that final happen. Anyways, I don't expect it to happen since I feel Milos will take out Rafa sadly.

Stan did what needed to be done. Lucky for him. Didn't want to be dragged into a long match under the hot Melbourne sun.

Yes, he does have a history of tanking against Federer. And history usually repeats.

But are we looking at another Stan ?
