hey, could anyone like thomas martinez, jura, etc. fill me in on a few player specs.

i know that gasquet has been switching to and from the instinct tour xl and the standard and that he uses BB original but does anyone know his racquet specs(weight, lead tape placement, whatever) and what tension he strings at?

also can you guys fill me in on whatever u know about florent serra's stick, nikolay davydenko's, andreas seppi's, and david ferrer's (ive heard a lot of speculation about ferrer's and and many people didnt agree on what he used so i was hoping a pro stringer could let me know for sure), and thiemo de bakker's racquet(the #2 junior and #1 seed at the french juniors). any help would be appreciated. thanks

For Gasquet and Seppi I have not any information.
Ferrer uses a pj'ded Warrior MP in 70.7 cm length - the specs are indicated in the list I posted. Same for Davydenkos O3 tour, but somebody posted that he switched to 28 inches now. (There's a quit new thread abou this!)
De Bakker to me seems like a real FXP Prestige MP, but could also be a pj. He used a real LM Prestige before.

Seppi I've never touched, but Gasquet after it was in 04 when he bounced between an Instinct 18 x 19 at @7.5" and the "Tour", he's settled in with the more open pattern frame. I didn't take his spec because he's happy with what Head does for him in customization. It's all silicone and lead under the bumper with them. His tension is usually if I remember right, 25/24 or was it 24? I cannot remember off the top of my head. Ferrer's frames are just under 28" and lightish. He uses Big Banger 9 at a low 22 kilos. NOT a fun frame to do while he is on court playing. Serra last I did was a few years ago, agian, no spec, but a Pure Control Team with silicone in the handle lead under the bumper with ALU-Power. DeBakker, last I knew, he was using a regular commercial Liquid Metal Prestige 630. No weight at all added strung with Prince Syn Gut 16. Replaced a few pallets for him since he wasn't using replacement grips, just some overgrips on the handle and holds down low on the handle, and torqued the hell out of the butt cap and destroyed the pallet.

alright cool, so if theres anyone out there who's done seppi's frame could u please fill me in?

Ok - so I'm being a Politically Correct-geek here...

But is "alright cool" a new way of saying "thanks so much for that amazingly detailed information, I can't imagine there's many people who'd know that nor who would spend the time explaining it to me - so thanks again!".

I hope so....

[and from me - thanks for your insights Thomas - my stringer works at the AO and a few other tourney's and I quite enjoy hearing the "what actually happens" stories)]
