Quality Control?

There was a thread in the racquet section comparing the quality control of the different racquet companies, and someone suggested that you guys over at TW must have some idea. So, in your experience, which company is usually closest to their specs?

Sorry I think my question came out somewhat odd. What I really wanted to know was what companies generally have the worst quality control? Is it usually the bigger companies that are farther off their specs?

I think TW can tell you who has the best quality control but can't tell you who has the worst. But I think we all know who is the worst when it comes to QC.

Yes I suspected as much. Still want would like to see a ranking or something though.

All companies have a quality control range for their products, TW might be able to give you that for companies. For instance, Babolat labels the weight and balance of the Pure Drive Team and Roddick as being +/- 7. I.e.: Pure Drive Team; weight: 300gr (+/- 7).

It would be bad business to say things along the lines of "this brand is shoty."

i remeber a situation with another online realtor that basically said in their review that the Wilson Surge (when it first came out ) was a better version of the Pure Drive. Babolat then "vengefully?" pulled its support from the online retailer and they were no longer official Babolat suppliers and could no longer sell their racquets "officially". They were no longer an official supplier.

Babolat seems to be like that
