You could get better information from a few good library books (especially a University library), and wise use of google (scholar). Fitness, sadly, can be very boring. Often times the answer to more progress is the same old **** and more of it. You get good at the exercise most like the one you perform in workouts. This system seems like more ******** that is just slapped together stuff. They probably give you some decent exercises (which you can get from any book), and give you some general guidelines for programming (which will work until it gets stale. Then you need to learn how to effectively program).
Most stuff is marketing hype.

Periodization Training for Sports by Tudor Bomba is a good book.

If your just starting out I would recommend Starting Strength by mark rippetoe.

It will give you a good base to start from and once you complete that program or stop progressing on it then you can go looking for more advanced things. But if you are a beginner start there.

I wouldn't pay $80... the description sounds like a lot of cool "hype" marketing words. I don't know the program, so I am not saying it's bad, but I think you can do as well if not better, if you just get some good training books on Amazon (read the reviews first and see what people like), try the different techniques and see what works best for you. We are all different, what is great for me may not work for you at all. And learn learn learn, that's how we get better.

Yeah, 80 was too high to jump in (plus no idea about the folks behind it)

Thanks guys! I'll check out those 2 books
