Question about Prince grip sizes.

As you all know, I am a Wilson guy that has joined the dark side and converted to the much loved Prince O3 Tour MS 95..

Question I need to ask.. I am looking to get a couple more of these bad boys, but I am a little confused with the grip size as Prince only puts 2, 3, 4, 5 on the butt..

So can someone translate the Prince grip sizes into easy to understand English for me?.. I have 2 at the moment, and they are a grip 4, and they feel like my usual 4 1/2.. But are they really?

Chris it has long been the Euro way to use sizing 1-5, I guess Prince are just conforming to the World market as not many places use imperial measurements apart from the US.

L 1 - 4 1/8
L 2 - 4 1/4
L 3 - 4 3/8
L 4 - 4 1/2
L 5 - 4 5/8

Also note that I find prince's 4 1/4 smaller than wilson's 4 1/4

I found the same on o3 speedport red. 4 3/8 price is smaller than 4 3/8 Babolat and Yonex. So be very carefull with prince grips.

That kind of funny that you say that. Not that you are wrong by any means but I have had a different experience. I have Wilson HPS 6.0 tours that are L5 4 5/8 and they feel small to me. I have recently bought Dunlop Maxply Mcenroe and bought the 4 5/8 because my wilson was perfect, but it seemed too big. So I tore off the grip and just use two overgrips to make it a little bit smaller and it feels like the wilson. Just yesterday, I got Prince Shark MP LB in 4 1/2 just because I didn't want what happened to me with the Dunlops happen here and it felt just like the Wilson 4 5/8. So to me the Princes actually feel bigger than they are listed. But perhaps the wilsons were wrong??? Who knows.

I will say that my Prince O3 Tour 95's have Grip 4, and they feel very much like 4 1/2 to the touch, compared to my Wilsons.. So I cant see much difference other than a small amount.. With the Wilsons probably a tad bigger..
