Question about racquet matching

Hi guys, so I just demoed the Wilson Clash 100 pro and loved it enough that I am going to buy one. When I received the demo I restrung it with strings that I like because the strings that were given to me were old and dead, and I also added a replacement grip to the end of the butt cap to give it some flair and then an over grip. Before I sent the demo back I got the weight, balance, and swing weight of the racket strung. Now, I read on this forum that you should match your rackets unstrung and not strung because of all the factors that come with that but I only have the specs of it strung so how should I go about matching my new racket? Thanks!

Unstrung specs yield the same strung spec when prepared identically. As long as you’re using the same string and grips you can match the strung spec to match the demo you liked. Just get the unstrung spec next time you’re getting it restrung, that way you can match a second or third clash without having to get it strung first.

Gotcha, so basically match it strung and when I get it restrung I will get the unstrung specs so I can match another unstrung. Thanks!
