how long it takes to close the roof on both wimbeldon and australian open center court and why the play is suspended when the roof is being closed

and once the roof is closed do they open it if the conditions are right, or does it remain closed until the end of the match

It takes 10+ minutes to fully close the roof and cover the courts from rain while it closes. The reason why play is suspended some time after the roof closes is to get the blowers out and get rid of as much moisture as possible.
