Question about the CX 200 Tour 16x19 (Feel) to Chris and Troy

Hello!

I just saw the review on the CX 200 Tour 16x19. I was wondering how the feel is compared to the Head Microgels and IG Prestiges/Radicals. How do the feels of those frames compare to this one?

Best regards,

Frans

@Frans Bleker,

It has been a while since I have played with some of those older versions of the Prestige, and Radical. The CX 200 Tour 16x19 offers a lot of control, and feel. From what I recall, I really enjoyed the feel and response of the MicroGEL Prestige MP & Pro. It is hard to say if I preferred the response and feel of the older Prestiges, and Radicals, such as the MicroGEL, but I have some fond memories of them, specifically the Radical MP (weighted up), and Prestige Pro. I would like to say that there is a bit more pop, with the CX 200 Tour 16x19, compared to some of the older Prestiges. The relatively rounded head shape of the CX 200 Tour 16x19 helps to create a larger sweet-spot, and easier access to spin, than what I recall from those older Prestiges, and Radicals.

The specs of this frame are very similar to my old Dunlop Bio 200 lites. Would you say they play similarly?

@taylor15,
The control is similar between the two. It has been a while since I hit with the Bio 200 Lite, but from my recollections the CX 200 Tour 16x19 packs a bit more pop. This is likely due to the CX 200 Tour 16x19 coming in a bit stiffer. Spin potential is pretty similar between the two, but I would give the edge to the CX 200 Tour 16x19 with its rounder head shape. thanks for the response Troy. Rounder head shape is icing on the cake. I’ve been hitting a 93p, but keep going back to my 200 lites with leather and a little tungsten for matches because I just play better with them. They’re getting a bit beat though.

This might be a better alternative for me.
