I have been using the Volkl V-pro 18 string in my 18x20 blade 98 at 56lbs on and off for a year now. I like it a lot, but would like some more spin when it goes down in tension a little, and a little of that undescribable crisp, explosive feel mostly found in big banger strings.
I couldn't help but to notice the high remarks cyclone receives from the playtesters! I'm not willing to spend big bucks for luxilon that I have to cut out or break within a week. So is cyclone similar to lux alu rough/4g?
how does it compare to v-pro in feel, power, spin, control, and TENSION MAINTENANCE? I would like to be able to string it lower than v-pro, but still feel in control with the added spin.
I'm a high level junior player. The most important thing for me is that I can take big cuts without fear of missing long. I don't hit with a ton of spin, but like to have enough to keep more balls in play, but still need a large enough sweet spot to hit big serves.
If it helps I don't like tour bite at all, found it stiff with no sweet spot.
