Question for Gamma Tech..

I was hoping you (or anyone else, if possible) could be of some assistance to me. I have a Gamma Progression ST ( http://206.210.94.83/collaterals/pdf/Prog_ST.pdf ) stringer that is in need of one new clamp base (or something else?). Since this stringer has been discontinued, I was wondering if any of the current clamp bases that are available are compatible with this machine.

The problem is that the threads in the 'guide bushing nut' are stripped, thus I can't get the base to tighten. Is this part used for any of the current stringers? Is this something that I could get made/fixed? Or am I just out of luck?

I'll even insert a picture.

Thanks in advance!

That looks like a X-wing bolt for the old brake. Call Bret at Gamma, he's pretty good at figuring what part you'll need. Have the diagram handy at the back of the manual handy.

i definitely have the replacement parts you have pictured, about $5-10 each, bearing, wing knob & guide bushing nut. i have to double check in the warehouse if i have the other parts to upgrade to MQAC. you can't bolt MQAC on to your turntable. i'll try to post by the end of the day.
