Question for HEAD experts.

I would like to ask , if HEAD Liquidmetal Instinct, made in Austria and available in some shops, racquet is exactly the same frame ( maybe except leather grip and butt cap ), which is used by pros ( of course after customization ) ?

Or Head is, similar like with prestige frames, use very special ( lighter ) frame, made in Kennelbach factory only for pros, with special Head code in the throat and this one is then customized with lead under bumper and silicone in the handle, according pros requests?

Has LM Instinct used by pros any code written on the frame ( similar like PT10or PT 57 etc.) ?

I asked Roman Pokes (head of **** tennis) this exact same question and the answer he gave me was a 'yes'....but like you say....the pros then add substantial weight to the frame.

sorry just to make it more clear....by 'yes' I mean the pros DO use the Austrian made instincts that in theory were available in some shops when they were sold.

However - this was purely through email conversation with Roman so don't take my answer as 100%. But judging from what he said....it seems as if the pros used what you or I could use and added weight.

Pros will always add weight to the frame instead of using stock weight, they need the extra weight to handle the the pace and spin of the tour level shot.

If Roman prokes said it I would take that as gospel. I wonder if the Chinese made ones are of the same quality though... thinking about getting a LM Instinct as my next racquet.
