Question for HEAD LM Radical MP users

#1
Hy guys, I want to know from those who still use or have used the Head LM Rad MP in the past, the stringing tension to make the racket more soft, without going too low on the tension. Currently I play with the Head Flexpoint Rad Tour strung with Signum Pro Hyperion 1,24mm at 26x25kg. I know the LM is a more stiff racket and having a denser string pattern, should I go with 25x24? Thanks in advance!

One of my fave set ups for this was Alu Power in the mains at 51 and Sensation crosses at 54. I modded the frame to 340 strung with tac in the handle and lead at 3 and 9. Was a smooth ride.

I have my LM radical mp strung with RPM blast 18 (1.20) at 46 lbs (21 kg) & find it plays pretty nice - this frame has such inherent touch & control built in.
I have 2 gm of lead at 3 & 9 and 1 gm at 12 o'clock plus 3 gm blutak in the buttcap
Weight: 321 gm and 3 pt HL.
Not sure if the tension needs to be bumped up for the higher static weights but I've never found any tension too loose for this 18X20 racket.
Lowest I've ever gone is 45 but I'm sure I could go lower & still play decently well.

I've got a flexpoint radical mp that I'm trying to get adjusted to but it plays quite a bit different. So far it's not working out so good because I'm so used to the LM.

I think I should try your setup, and see how it plays. Thanks!

I have played with the flexpoint radical mp for a short period of time, but didn’t have a great experience with that racket. The flexpoint radical tour remains, at least for now, the best racket I have ever played with, but want to give the LM Rad MP a shot. Plus, the FXP tours are hard to find, at least where I’m from. I will string the LM with 24X23 kg and see how it goes, and if it’s the case, I will go lower. Thanks for your reply!

Good luck with it. It’s a great frame and rewards technically sound long strokes. If you can get hold of the Made in Austria versions they certainly play better. For me a softer feel.
