Question for M-Speed 98 users

Has anyone noticed that the static weight of their M-Speed 98 is a lot higher than the 12.0 strung weight that both Fischer and TW advertise?

I just got one and it weighs 12.4 oz strung with overgrip. I am wondering if they all weigh that much or whether this one is a quality control issue. Thanks

I spec racquets for a living > got an RDC machine at home and work. the variation, even with the high-end companies like volkl, is massive. .5 ounces and 10 swingweight points is not uncommon. welcome to mass production.

That is interesting. I am used to rackets being off a tenth of an ounce or so, but almost half an ounce is alarming. Thanks for the post.
