Question for Michelle and/or Mark - Prince Tour Backpack Duffelpack

#1
Hi Michelle/Mark,

As Michelle reviewed the Prince Dufflepack and I gather Mark owns two of them, I thought you might be able to answer a couple of questions. The first is about the second zippered section at the back of the bag. In the review Michelle said it was designed to hold a laptop, tablet or both. I was wondering if you could put racquets in there. If you can, how many do you think it will hold? The last question is about the capacity of the side accessory pockets. It's a bit hard to tell on the video whether they're roomy or a bit cramped so I was keen to hear what you think.

Thanks very much, any help would be appreciated.

@AndrewD ,

The back panel pocket for a laptop or tablet (or both! there is a laptop sleeve and a felt lined smaller sleeve), can hold a racquet however, it will fall out as the zipper only goes in one direction and pulls open from the bottom of the bag, to the top. With a racquet in there, the zipper would not be able to close, leaving the pocket wide open. If there were a dual zipper, that would work though.

The side pockets are a decent size -- taller than a four can of balls. The height of the pockets are 20 inches, with some good space within to hold loose balls, or other items (hats, sunscreen, food, drinks, etc.).

Hope that helps,

This is an awesome bag. One of the best I’ve ever seen. The only change I’d ask for is for one of the side pockets to be insulated for food and drink like they do with their Tour line of racquet bags.

Can someone help me with a question on this? I like to hang my bag on the fence using a clip but looking at the pictures of this bag, the top handle (where the clip would go) is not behind the pocket for the rackets. So the racket handles would then get in the way of clipping the bag to the fence. This is visible in the TW video review, the racket handles are behind the bag's grab handle. Is this the case, or is there a way around it?

Correct -- although I think you could still clip the bag there and it would be ok as it is a bigger grab handle with some flexibility? I can't say with 100% certainty, but Mark and I both are fairly certain it should still be able to clip to the court.

You could also clip the bag using that middle handle, and then it would hang in the opposite direction (if that makes sense).

Not sure there are any other answers?! Unless maybe clip a caribbeaner or D-ring to the grab handle to extend the grab handle a bit and make it easier to clip to the court?

Hope that helps,
