hey guys how are you? i just wanted to ask a question.. so far ive been playing with the IG radical pro.. but ive been looking for a kinda more forgiving rackets as im not getting any younger.. and i know eric and kristen has used the phantom racquets.. and i know that troy has mentioned in previous threads that the c10 pro is more powerful and also has more spin potential vs the phantom pro 100 (18x20).. but now that we (in australia) have both phantom 100p (new edition) and also the 100x 305 available.. can you guys please compare the c10 pro vs both of these rackets? thank you <3

@bc-05,

Doing well, thanks for asking. Hope the same for you. The main takeaway for me when hitting with the Phantom 100P and the 100X 305, is a slight difference in feel, and maneuverability. The 100X 305 and all the "X" versions have the more oval shaped beam, which makes the racquet feel slightly crisper, and seems to add a bit more pop. The 100X 305 also feels slightly more maneuverable than the Phantom 100P. The Phantom 100P feels nice and solid, with its classic box-beam construction, and with the higher swingweight giving it a bit more plow in stock form. So the 100P will feel a bit closer in maneuverability to the IG Radical Pro, with the swingweight being closer to the 330 range, but the slightly more oval beam shape of the 100X 305 will likely yield a feel on contact that is a bit more similar to the Radical Pro. So maybe the 100X 305 with a bit of weight to the hoop? Also, the Phantom 100G has that similar feel to the 100P, but is more maneuverable, and some of our testers noted that the cross-bar in the throat helps to add some stability without having as much weight in the upper portion of the racquet like the 100P. The C10 Pro is heavier and more headlight feeling than all of these racquets mentioned so far, and the 98 headsize gives a bit more precision as well. I would compare the C10 Pro a bit more closely to the Phantom 97P, but with a firmer layup and a bit more power overall. Hope that helps somewhat..

Troy, TW
