Question to Angell / Vantage experts:grip shape?

Definitely B. But B looks more like Dunlop than Wilson. In any case, B is definitely closer to Wilson than the other two! Wilson actually has two shapes at the moment, but the differences between them are pretty subtle. Both of them are more similar to B than the other two options.

Just found the FAQ page: http://www.angelltennis.com/faq#9428

From that page: To guide you, the Angell A shape is the same as Head. The Angell C shape is the same as Prince, and the Angell B Shape is a generic octagon as used by Wilson, Babolat, Dunlop etc. If you currently use any other branded racket and wish for some guidance on which handle shape to choose, please contact us for help.

Looks like an interesting brand. I remember people talking about the Head Custom rackets making but never about this brand. But 169 euros for a custom made rackets sounds fair enough. Why isn't this hyped more here with all the lead customization treads?

Because "Rafa doesn't play with it".

P.S. Related to the original question, I'm currently playing the "generic/Dunlop like" shape handle, and I was fine with the wilson racquets I've tried, it is pretty close and nothing you can't adapt to. A different base grip makes a bigger difference than the small difference in handle shape from that one to a "Wilson shape".

Corners,
Could you tell me more about the two shapes from Wilson and their differences?
Thanks!

I would always state my preference as the Wilson shape and I've tried all the variants: there is no discernible difference between the Wilson and Babolat shapes to my mind (or hand!).

Conversely, when I've tried to play with either the Prince or Head shape I just can't get on with them at all.

Older thread, I know but I'm hoping to make an order with Paul in the next couple of weeks. I had the opportunity to briefly play w/ an B-shaped L3 synthetic and found that it felt larger than most L3's I've used (Head, Prince and Wilson). Has anyone else found this to be the case? I read somewhere that the C-shaped grip feels "smaller" than the B. Thanks fellas.

Yes. It is his synthetic grip. Very thick. Put a skin feel on there or a leather grip and you are in business with the B.
