Questions about Radical Limited Edition

Can anyone who has played with both the Microgel Radical OS and the Agassi Redical Limited Edition compare/contract the racquets? I've played with the Limited Edition, but am concerned it is a little to heavy and perhaps a little to powerful. I find myself a hair late on shots and sailing a lot of balls wrong. Currently play with the Head Ti.Radical. Switched to find something a bit more foregiving. I'm a baseline player, hard forehand with lots of topspin, and two handed backhand.

Are the stock polyester strings in the Limited Edition any good? Are they biased toward power or control. Any suggestions on reasonably priced (and available) strings that would provide improved feel and control? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Greg

The poly strings are decent, Id switch them out since they started to kill my arms after leaving them on too long. The LE is a great racquet and i found it low powered. Though at first its heavy you get used to it and its sooo nice. Its a solid racquet.

I dislike the MG OS.. that is all. Not even close to worth the price IMO

Your probably hitting a little late because of the higher swingweight of the Radical LE. The POG OS has a slightly lower swingweight if your eyeballing other frames, and the Donnay Pro One OS has an even lower swingweight than both POG and Radical LE.

As far as MicroGel Radical OS it is going to be a slightly different animal being the static weight is quite a bit lighter than any of the frames mentioned above. I'd try POG or Donnay before trying MG Radical OS.

For strings I would recommend Gosen Jim Courier Micro 16, which have good control and excellent tension maintenance. String it in the upper tension range. I use this string in many of my OS frames.

Limited Edition Radical

Would your sense be that the Limited Edition and Microgel Radical have approximately the same power level? In the TW decriptions, the LE had a "Low-Moderate" rating, while MG had "Low".

Greg

P.S. Just reread my original post. Sorry for all the typos!

i hated the limited edition radical, i felt absolutely horrible. in my experience people who try both favour the mg version

I would like to buy your TI radical or trade for 2 (one brand new) Head LE

I've hit with both, but I find the MG OS bad. In fact, I think that most of the Radical OS racquets are bad, except for the FXP, perhaps. However, the LE is a GREAT racquet.
But might I suggest the MG Radical teams? Just add some weight onto them, and they're great.
