My MS Paint skills again...

It's meant to be bricks, surrounding 'jail' bars, with the sun inside.

Sun=Solar, and jail bars make up a cell. Solar Cell. Pretty bad eh :p

no.3 has something to do with line up?

I didn't even notice Nuke's answer the first time around, sorry for reiterating that.

As for #3, yes, it's something to do with line up, and take note of the specific ordering of the letters.

Sniglets (in the books by Rich Hall, anyway) are made-up words that aren't in the dictionary, but should be. These puzzles aren't sniglets in that sense.
