Monfils in 4. Socks lack of backhand too much to overcome vs Monfils and I really like what I'm seeing lately from him. Nadal vs Monfils way more entertaining then Sock vs Nadal.

Monfils has been going big off the fearhand and actually the backhand as well but it comes in spurts i cant say he is hitting that big every shot the aggressiveness in his game is evident and good too see. I see him falling to Nadal but i hope he can get in top 15 again this year.

Monfils' lack of killer instinct is part of his problem though. I get the sense that he is happy being a very good player, but not a great one. He is there to win a few matches in each tournament, make friends on tour, have fun, and entertain the fans. His being good friends with Sock is not that much of a good thing in his case, I remember him playing sad mediocre matches against his other friends Tsonga and Gilles Simon. Have you seen Nadal during his matches? He seems like he will stop at absolutely nothing to destroy his opponent. Monfils could use some of that attitude.
