So here is the scoop. I am having trouble keeping the ball in the court with my current k 6.1 tour and am looking for a racket that will help me be more consistant.I love the head youtek externe pro and it's spin helps a ton. But I have also heard the wilson box pro tour helps a lot too. Any advice would be awesome!!!!

Pitcher, I had lots of problems with the APDC of Babolat... Cortex didn't help a bit...
And indeed, the BLX Pro Tour has a very dense string pattern, but one of my friends is playing with one and he said not finding any trouble hitting spinshots...

I play with a KBlade Tour which has an even denser pattern due to the smaller head.

anywho

The head on the Pro Tour is 6 sqin. larger which helps reduce the difference in density.

you should give the 6.1 95 BLX a try, it's a great frame, same stability as the Tour with slightly more power, and it's a lot more forgiving

Thanks guys. I actually tried the new 6.1 but I didn't feel confident with it. I did try the aero gt and liked it a lot too but not as much spin as the extreme......

Seriously, if you are having trouble keeping the ball in the court with a K6.1 Tour, your technique needs revamping.

I can arguably hit as hard as a pro (not trying to brag, and I obviously am nowhere near the consistency or footwork of a pro, amongst other things), but I can hit like I do with my Donnay with any racquet (not as comfortably, but I digress). I was hitting with a friend, and all I had to use was a Wal-Mart racquet with the stock factory strings, and I was still keeping the ball in the court with enough power/spin to give my friend a decent hitting session.

If you can't keep the ball in the court with a lower-powered racquet like the K6.1 Tour, it's not the racquet, it's you.

Well it is more or less i don't get enough spin i feel more consistent with rackets that have lots of spin potential and the k6.1 doesnt have it

spin is not in the racquet, its the technique. i can hit top spin shots all day with my beloved 18x20's, even though i usually hit flat. just maybe tweek with new strings and try new tensions broady.

The 6.1 Tour is about as control-oriented as racquets get. If you still don't feel it's helping you keep the ball in the court, you might want to go the other way -- toward less weight/more power -- to help you get a clean swing that goes where you want.

If you feel more comfortable with the Extreme Pro, why not demo a bunch of similar racquets to that?
