I have demoed a lot of rackets specially Yonex. I played with APD in the past. I prefer open string patterns and 330 swingweight. I drive the ball with topspin, hit backhand slice and one handed tipspin backhand. I like to strike the ball hard so I,need control in the racket. I demoed the Prince Tour 100 16 x 18 and maybe will try it again. First time i had mix feelings on it as I found the stringbed inconsistent. I am also considering the Blade. I like full poly at 50. I have a tender elbow so I dont want a stiff racket.,I am also checking,Wilson Spin rackets,Prestige also. Yonex are not an option for me. I cant demo asI live in Puerto Rico., I am inclined toward the Blade.,like the weight, stiiffness level is not that high but dont know if full poly will, hurt my arm in the Blade. I would appreciate your advice on rackets to consider and your reasons to consider them. Thanks. I know you have alot to take care of in TW so thanks for your time. One last thing. I cant handle ectremely heavy rackets as my fast swing suffers after a while with heavy players rackets.,

What about the Blade 18x20 with NXT Control? It will be easier on your elbow and the dense string pattern will offer lots of control. Another option would be to hybrid a poly main string with a multi cross. Again, the 18x20 should allow you to do that without sacrificing control thanks to the denser string pattern.

Other options would include the Pure Strikes, Organix 10 295, Graphene Radical Pro and MP, Prince Tour Pro 98 and even the Graphite 100 would be a good option.

Hope that helps,
Chris, TW

Ill go wirh the Blade 18 x 20 with nxt control maybe. Sounds interesting

Chris, what about the spin, racket you are using?, do you think its an option for me? I am also considering the Prince Tour 100 16 x 18 strung with Quatro Twist at 55 tension. I like to sometimes whip the ball and it seems the,Blade is a bit head heavy, for that .

Boricua, I've been visiting PR for the past 3 winters, staying for around a month usually. Mostly SanJuan in Hillside, or Fajardo where my g/f has an apartment.
I've seen some players at OceanPark, and some at PuntaLasMarias behind where they windsurf, but haven't talked to anyone because my racket's got chewed up by rats and I haven't brought other ones over there yet.
There are two nice courts at OceanView apartments in Fajardo where I stay.
Maybe we can hit sometime in mid Dec. thru mid Jan?
