racket/string combination for longest possible play time

are there racket/string combinations which maximize playability? if there are, which combinations would stay playable on court for the longest without sacrificing too much comfort or performance?

I think the obvious answer would be a tighter stringbed (18x20) with maybe a kevlar gut hybrid. I'm curious how much longer that would last compared to a full bed of poly for example.

curious to hear your thoughts.

While I think you can find the right racquet that ticks the boxes of playability and longevity for your game, the actual answer will be an individual one for your game.
For example for me a playable frame will need to be a heavy thin beamed frame that is headlight and a SW up to 330 that is flexible and comfortable on the arm. As far as string I’m prepared to skew my choices towards comfort strings over polyester because arm comfort to me is more important than longevity. In fact I don’t see any benefit in having a poly string that lasts too long because that’s going to be a liability for your arm eventually so I would cut them out.
Instead if I’m likely to chew up strings quickly I’m just better off buying 4 racquets and buy a stringing machine and do it that way.
If you like 18/20 frames, which I do, just get one that you like. I really like the Artengo control tour 960 ( customised) and BB Melbourne and Dunlop Bio 200, all with an 18/20 but I also like the C10 Pro, PB 10 Mids and PK Q Tour 315 with their 16/19 pattern. These are all comfortable frames

this is true. though I'm curious how long the racket and string setup least optimized for tension maintenance vs most would last.
