Which racquet bag should I get, the Head tour team Supercombi 12-pack or the Head tour team '06 supercombi 12-pack? I would like some input because I am debating on whether or not to buy the head bags now or to wait for the new line of tennis bags from head to come out next year.

I currently use the wilson tour five red super six pack but I am not really that happy with the bag, It is way too big for me even though I am a serious tennis player.

I use the babolat aeropro drive and the wilson n-code n-six-one 95 and just one of each racquet take up on entire compartment and I use a 4 1/2 grip, so, I am really considering getting a new bag.

You thought the Wilson super pack was WAY too big for you, yet your next bag choices are both 12-packs? Stick with a regular 6-pack and you'll be much happier. To answer your question, get the '06 tour team over the regular tour team

Looks like you are using the babolat aeropro drive. then go with aeropro 12pack.
I have the the babolat aeropro drives and aeropro 12pack. It matches AWESOME

I thank you guys for your input, even though some of your answers were not what I was looking for.

I heard that the Babolat pro team 12-pack with the red trim holds it's shape pretty well, I was wondering if anyone would recommend it?

well, i only think you need a 6 pack, and the Adidas bag is huge for a 6 pack so that should work fine.

EDIT: Just looked at the specs for the Adidas bag and it is even bigger than most 12 packs so that might not be your best option

If you're talking about the barricade bag, and you only need a 6-pack, I'd advise a different bag, check the dimensions of the barricade compared to 12-packs:shock:

You are better off just buying a Babolat pro team 6-pack, if you just want a 6-pack bag

does anyone know where the aeropro 12-pack is sold for less than $60? TW sells it for $60 and I think that is way too much for the bag. Are there any places online where it's sold for less? or are there any stores around chicago-land selling it for less?

really can't be sold for lower than 59.95... but some web-site have it maybe a dollar or two lower, but make up for it in shipping...

i just got the aero 12 pack... wow, nice! It's a bit heavy, but the construction and extras are a big plus!

I don't know what the price is here, but this is the BEST pro shop: Chicago Tennis and Golf Company. I live in the suburbs and I go here because they have the best demo program (ever!), and very fast stringing, and lots and lots of variety. I know they have the Aero bags, but you e-mail or call them to find the price out. www.ctgc.com

would you say that the aero 12 bag is smaller than regular 12 pack bags? Because TW says that the aero 12-pack is only 11 inches deep. But Babolat.com says that the bag is about 14 inches deep.

let me measure... the racquet compartment with the outside pocket is 12". The middle compartment and the outer compartment with out the pocket are 14".

This bag is very, very sturdy... plus mine is brand new, so no use yet. (No stretching).

The two outer compartments (i'll call them compartment #1 and #3... #2 being the center) are lined with a thicker, more ridgid Thermoguard-like material... this material covers the whole inside, top to bottom, very nice. The outside bottom is very well constructed, heavy duty rubber like material.

The bag is just as wide as any other 12 pack i've seen. The Prince Team, the green ones, seem to be a bit bigger... but do not offer all the insulation/padding/thermoguarding. Plus the Prince's outer and inner material are inferior (don't get me wrong, i like the Prince bag, almost bought it (love the shoe bag that unzips from the inside also!), but the Aero...wow, not even close). I bet you can "stuff" more stuff in the Prince, but the bag would look like it was "stuffed". Material is soft.

I should take some pics...

today, in order to get the bag unfolded and into shape, i put my briefcae in the center comp... a couple of racquets and my wifes yoga mat in the #1 comp... some clothes, a pair of BIV's, string packs, overgrip reel, etc. in the #3 comp. Put some odds and ends in the outer pocket. A bottle of wine in the "Water Cooler" (nice feature... can hold 2-3 bottles of water). Filled the detachable inner Babolat bag with tennis balls... then zipped it all up..................and there is still a lot of air in there!

I will primarily put my 2 main sticks in the #1 comp. My sneaks in the middle #2 comp, maybe with a light pair of clothes, a few cans of tennis balls... and fill the "water cooler". In comp #3 will be the remaining racquets or odds and ends. Grip, rubber bands and strings, etc will be in the outer pocket... keys, in the top mini pocket (nicely hidden)!

If you are looking for a 12 pack to house 12 sticks and them only... maybe get a Wilson or Prince. But to hold 4-8 sticks and have room for everything else, get it. It's too well built and too nice just to be carrying around racquets, it's not made for that. This is a complete bag!

I have paid over U$ 90 for the Aero in Bolivia. I would pay it again. The design and ergonomics are just perfect. Read my lips again. Perfect.

i have the 6 pack of the pro team and it had held its shape very well. it replaced my head tour team bag which was squashed in less than 6 months. btw, it was the older black and silver tour team, not the red white and black one. but so far i am completely satisfied with the babo bag... although i dont have any bab racquets.

what is the pro team 6-pack good for holding, I want to use it for holding 2-4 racquets, clothes, grips, wristbands and a towel

the bag would easily hold all of that, i found that i could actually fit 4 racquets (2 of which were huge oversizes) in one compartment, and all the rest of my stuff in the other compartment... i.e., shoes, grips, towel, tennis balls... and i put smaller stuff in the useful outside pocket like cell phone, ipod, keys, wristbands...
