Racquet customization/correction

Hello tenniswomen and tennismen, it s my first post , i have this small problem with my prince tour 100p, one side is heavier than the other one (the swingweight machine shows 86g on one side vs 82g on the other side)so depending on the side i feel a different swingweight, how to correct that , where to place weight?

Thank you for your advice

Good luck. I found that modifying by "feel" works best, and the weight to add isn't necessarily equal to the difference. For trial you can try taking a 1 gram piece of lead and it to the lighter side then move it up and down and see what feels "correct".

Thank you, really hard to start , because i don t connect yet the data/my feelings with the physics behind lol

This is why I don't even what to know about this R/L spec imbalance. Matching SW, static and balance is hard enough, and now we also have to match R/L? Talk about something that would get in my head.

I have that, and TBH I'd ignore that measurement. I had racquets with different weights on the side. Customised them to match, and then when you check the opposite side it didn't give the same result. I think that feature is more for badminton racquets.

Did you flip it over and check both sides to see if you get the same figures

When you add weight to one side, you change the whole dynamic of how the head flexes and vibrates on impact, creating dead spots, odd nodes, etc…. So, spreading out the weight you add as much as possible will likely give you the best results.

I would also tend to ignore it, too, unless the frame was swinging strangely or had an odd feel or vibration on impact.

Unfortunately i just took the picture of the of the 2 result (of my 2 racquets) and i was more focus on weight and swingweight.
From day one with this racquet i felt something strange that took me by surprise..and now i kind of understand why , it s hard to describe but let me try: if i swing a forehand at around 45 degrees it feels like there s more weight at approximatively 1 and 1/2 oclock (or 10 and 1/2 o clock from a ball pov) depending on the side facing the ball , but i m not always feeling it because i suppose that this feeling depends on the angle and speed, but not that i know this difference i can reproduce this feeling...so i think i ll try to add weight @1 and 1/2 o clok to start

Because of you the same day i ask the stringer to put tour sniper inside my racquet...but for the moment i don t regret it.

you are over thinking it. ive never heard of anyone weighing sides. just worry about the weight and balance. keep it simple. and if you actually feel that one side is heavier than the other for whatever reason. then its time to replace it. the end.

I didnt ask the shop to weight the side...it just that the machine weights the side..and inside the shop i didnt even look at this value because i didn t even expect this was possible...and don t really understand this value ( 86g on one side 82g on the other for a racquet that weight 330g strung?), now if you allow me for my tennis goal and the money i can spend i will try first to correct this 'problem'
