Hi all,

I found a few good deals at my local shop. I need a new racquet by tomorrow. The cheapest being the Wilson K 6.1 Lite Frame. I can't find much info on it...but here's the specs:

Suggested String - Wilson Sensation NXT Head size: 660 sq cm
Strung Weight: 9.3 oz. / 265 g
Length: 69 cm
Strung Balance: 1 pt. HH / 35 cm
LENGTH; 27
FRAME COMPOSITION; nCoded Hypercarbon, nCoded High Modulus Graphite and Kevlar
[K]arophite Black / Double Hole technology
Cross Section: 23.5 mm Flat Beam

What do you all think? Do you believe this racquet will not produce enough power b/c it's so light?

Theres also good deals on the below, only about $20-$25 more than the lite frame:

WILSON: HYPER 4.0 100 RACQUET 2009
WILSON: [K] STING FRAME
DUNLOP: AEROGEL 300 FRAME
BABOLAT: PURE DRIVE RODDICK - bit more pricier than the above three.

In what order would you recommend?

I want something with a bit more power and control.

I'm currently using a cheap Head T.I 2000 Titanium and want a slight upgrade.

Details:

Gripsize: 1-5
String Pattern: 16/19
Swingstyle: None
Beam: 23 mm
Head size: 710 cm²
Weight: 270 g
Balance: 330 mm
Length: Standard, 685 mm
Colors: orange/white

Thanks

Not knowing your game, I would recommend the Dunlop Aerogel 300. Besides the Roddick racquet that you listed, I think the Dunlop is the most solid frame and I don't think that it will be to heavy for you.

I kind of need something for all around play. I'm not close to a pro level, but I want something one step up over my current racquet. I joined a tournament for this Saturday so I want to ensure I have a half decent racquet instead of my walmart racquet.

I was also leaning towards the AG300, many people have recommended it. I'm going to check the shop out today..if they have them sold out, what would be your second and third choice on the list?

Thanks a lot

I actually called a bunch of places and the AG300 is sold out. I can still get the other 3.

Which would you recommend...the wilson hyper 4.0 or k sting? The k sting is unstrung and the hyper is strung plus it's cheaper so if both perform similar then I will grab the hyper and save some cash. The babolat is the most expensive of the two.

Thanks
