Racquet Help

New User
Hey everyone,

I'm looking to get a new racquet and having trouble choosing one of the following:

Wilson Tour BLX
Wilson Six One Team BLX
Head YouTek Radical MP

I've played with the Radical MP a few times but am undecided on it. The others I haven't been able to get a hold of.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes,

Ali

Hey guys once again,

So after looking at the forums and various reviews on the TW website I'm now officially stuck and have no idea what racquet I'm going for haha.

Just a bit about me:

Intermediate - Low. (Never been taught or coached, but looking to get full time coaching in the very near future)

Age: 22

Racquet requirements:

Normal size, (27)
Quite light: Around 289 - 310 mark.

Once again any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

To add to your list: Head Liquidmetal Radical MP.

It's a great racquet to start off with that will respond well to mods as your game advances. Plus the price is nice when compared to other new racquets. However, it does weigh in at 318g strung.

Also, try out TW's demo program if your local shop doesn't have a racquet on your list in stock.

Thank you for the advice Manchu.

318g strung isn't too bad, weight wise. I'm hitting the gym as regularly as I can and trying to adapt my sessions to increase arm, shoulder and back strengthen into my usual work out.

My list isn't a statute list. I'm open to suggestions of other racquets from Wilson and Head, and even Prince and Babolat.

Thanks once again.

After 10+ years away from tennis, I am certainly not as fit as I would like to be. I started off using a sub 10 oz Prince Hybrid Spectrum OS. Worked for a while, but started to feel too light. After reading the reviews for LM Radical MP, I decided to make it my next weapon of choice. TW's high marks helped also. After using it for a while, I wanted to try out a leaded setup (close to Tour specs). It took a few tries with the lead placement, but the LM Radical ended up being a really nice frame to hit with.

With that being said, I'm now using an RDS001 Mid. Just wanted to give a mid size racquet a try, and I ended up really enjoying it.
