Racquet Modification Question - Wilson Clash

I have a question regarding racquet modification. Due to a history of arm issues, I've been using the Clash 100 for the last year. After an adjustment, I really have come to enjoy all aspects of the frame - except the weighting. In hindsight, I should've gone with the Clash Pro. I now have 3 Clash 100's that I'd like to get to the weighting of the Clash Pro. I've tried adding random lead, but I'm curious if anyone knows of either: 1) A service that does modifications like this. Somewhere where I can send them modded to new specs or 2) A way that I can figure out exactly how much weight needs to be added to each part of my frames to bring them closer to the specs of the Clash Pro.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not really looking to drop $800 for 3 new racquets, I just want to get my 100's closer to the specs of the the Clash Pro.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

A racquet could be vastly different from the target spec because of the sloppy Wilson QC, but if that's not taken into account, you should go with 3 grams of lead tape at 12 o' clock and replace the stock grip with leather. That'll make them very close to clash pro specs.

go to the tennis warehouse university and measure the racquet parameters of your current setup using the swingweight tool
get a hold of a clash 100 tour and do the same thing. perhaps you can borrow a demo from the LTS.

add lead tape either in the hoop or the handle to get the swingweight your current racquets the same as the tour
at least the swingweight will be very close, i have found if the racquet weight varies you might not tell, but if the swingweight is different
you can really tell a difference, but thats just me.

disclaimer, the modified 100 might feel a bit different than the 100 tour.
strings and tension make a big difference as well.

hope this helps, i have a ton of racquets and am always trying to optimize the setup

I think @mad dog1 has done this exact thing, if I’m not mistaken. Maybe he’ll chime in.

Weight at 12 and buttcap and you’ll get close. You still need to know what you are starting with.

the clash 100 tour/pro has more weight in the shoulders than the regular 100 so doing what you suggested doesn’t get it close to the tour/pro.

You've actually weighed the shoulders?

The guy just says he wants more weight - he's likely not sure it matters where it is until he tries a few things out first. Odd to me that folks can find a tennis forum to ask these questions, because they would have to pass by so many answers on the google search before arriving, signing up, and then posting.

OP - buy some lead tape or tungsten or whatever. Add it to the stick until you are happy. I dunno about adding leather to a Clash because part of having a Clash is the plushness and leather on bare graphite(because a Clash has no foam handle) is gonna definitely be a more direct feel. But that's your call to make.

What are the shoulders on the racquet ? I figured the twistweight is the same on paper. So I added to the extremities.

@smarog Assuming you don’t know the weight and balance of your 3 rackets and you want to raise the specs to a Clash Pro I just used the listed specs. Add 3 g of lead inside the frame at 12 to raise the SW ~10 points, and 11 g at 8cm from the butt to raise the weight a total of 14 g and lower the balance to 31.5 cm.

If you use 1/4” lead tape each gram is 11 cm long so you need 33 cm for 12 o’clock. I would cut that 33 cm into 4 8.25 cm strips and layer 2 strips on each side of the string bed centered at 12. For the grip you will need 11 g. If you use an over grip like the Gamma Supreme that weighs 6 g you only need 5 g more. I would add the 5 g centered at 8 cm from the butt in a single layer since it is in your grip area. The replace the grip and over wrap. The center of the grip area is about 9 cm from butt but I doubt it matters much. You still end up close.

This should get you in the ball park with no tools required. If you have a gram scale and balance board you can do much better. Access to a SW machine too is even better.
