I'm looking to get back into the game after a rather lengthy layoff. How lengthy? My #1 racquet is still the Prince Thunderbolt I used in High School.
I'm a topspin heavy baseliner--probably a 3.0-3.5 right now since I'm fairly out of practice (I've only been playing 5-6 times per year) but more like a 4.0-4.5 when I'm completely on my game.
I can generate my own power, would prefer a racquet that's spin/control friendly (without completely sapping all the pop out of my game).
I really like the midplus headsize of the Thunderbolt.
Anyone have a racquet recommendation for me to get back into the game? Would especially love it if i could find something under $100 (new or used) that could serve me well for quite a while. Need more info? Just ask--this is all still coming back to me, so I'm sure I left out some important stuff.
