Racquet sponsorship question

A friend of my son's just got sponsored by Wilson and got a few items from them including 2 racquets. My son plays with Head racquets and was wondering if they do any type of sponsorship program. What are the sponsorship programs like from different racquet companies? Do kids have to have a certain ranking? Is it usually initiated by their coach or local pro? This is a great opportunity for my son to practice his skills in making phone calls and in communicating so I'd love to get some advice. thx

My daughter just recently got the package from Head. Here is the website that you can apply for it. http://www.head.com/elite/join.php.

From the package that my daughter got, if you are top 25 in the section, you'll qualify. They can choose 3, 4, 6 racquet deal. Good Luck!

Thanks, my son is top 5 in our section right now but once he ages up in early winter, he'll be only top 30 in the next age bracket. I was figuring that now is a good time to get him going with some racquets.
