I'm in the process of demo-ing racquets...I would like suggestions on what to try.

I played 6.1 95 Classic from '92 to about three years ago and still have one. Loved it! I have since tried K6.1 95, Microgel Prest Pro, BLX 6.1 95 (black/red), and a few others mixed in. Nothing excites me because these days a little extra pop allows me to smooth my strokes and focus on playing instead of hitting with pace.

Lately I have hit with a Prince Rebel 98 and the dreaded APDGT. I am actually hitting pretty well with both. Forehand is a monster with APDGT and otherwise it is great but a fuzz stiff feeling.

I hit a classic Eastern forehand and 1HBH. I slice backhands a good bit and prefer to get to net. My serve is definitely my biggest weapon and I am anywhere from a good to excellent volleyer (touch/placement/depth - whatever I WANT to do) depending on the day. I do not want an extended racquet.

I want comfort and a little free power instead of the strict 'pro' frame. I play once or twice a week.

My next demo target is a Warrior 100.

I did not like the PD12 - the GT was ok.

the rebel 98 is a great racket. Didnt like the pure drive 2012 cuz it's stiff. also, it feels hollow.

I don't know if you'll find the Warrior good at the net. In the TW review, they said it lacks feel at net, which would make sense due to the thick beam.

    Try these:

    1. Volkl O10 325
    2. Dunlop Bio 200
    3. Dunlop F 3.0
    4. Volkl C10 Pro

I would stay away from APDGT. I think this is a good baseline basher racket but not a good all court racket. Also, not comfortable.

If you can get by the square head, give either the Yonex VCORE Tour 97 or VCORE 95/98D a look.

I used to play with the 6.1 95 Classic also. The APDGT was too powerful for me and hurt my arm. The Aero Storm Tour was closer to the power level I wanted, but I didn't like it on off-center hits. I'm playing with the Pro Kennex Ki 5x, and I love it. If you don't like extended length, the regular Ki 5 is a great racquet. I also liked the Pacific X-Force Pro. I might want to try the Rebel 98.
