Racquet Weighting

Have a old Wilson racquet that I use. The normal weighting is about 11.2 ounces at about 4pts hl

I've gone to a leather grip, some weight in the barrel and weight at the 3 and 9 to about 11.9 ounces and 6 pts HL.

I like it, though it feels a little heavy in the handle.

I went to 11.5 ounces and a head pt of about 2.5 HL.

This feels a lot faster without sacrificing the maneuverability of the racquet.

So my dilimma is that since I sacrificed .4 ounces, what will the benefits be and what will the drawbacks be.

1 11.9
Head is lighter
Racquet is heavier
Feels heavier to swing
head more maneuverable.

2 11.5
Head is heavier
Racquet is lighter
Easier to swing
Less maneuverable in the head

So, what is the real life situation?
Will I be sacrificing plow through at the expense of head speed, despite the head portion being heavier?
At the lighter weight, will it be less stable?

I"M just so damn confused.

The second one will have more power and stability. The main advantage of headlight rackets is with volleying, it's easier to keep the racket from swinging in your hand. Also it's easier to adjust your timing during groundstrokes, or even last minute adjustments like extra spin with the wrist etc.

that's easy. there will be no benefits for either one. But every time you miss a shot with racket A you will think it would go in with racket B. Your game will be messed up ever since. And I'm not really kidding.
