Babolat - it's not just lousy spec control they can't get manufacturing quality down pat (although racquet abuse might have been the main factor).

Wow that was funny. I remember Safin doing that on a serve once.

All this bad mouthing of babolat...if you saw the match, she was slamming the racquet 7-10 times about 3 times, this had caused micro fractions in the racquet, and when she returned on ball, it finally snapped. I love how everyone jumps on the abuse babolat bandwagon without any facts, way to be mature.

About 5 points before that happened Radwanska banged her racket on the court at least 3 times. Definitely cracked it.

Yeah I saw it all, she had most likely already broken it. Not babolat's fault...
    priceless moment though.

Don't blame babolat. I rememeber that Vaidisova and Nalbandian lost their Yonex in the same way.

Saw this one live on tv, both my dad and I were chuckling. Safin definitely needs to give her some racquet smashing lessons though.

Oh and OP, if you haven't seen it, check out Rafter's serve breaking Pete's racquet. Pete's whole frame warps after trying to return Rafter's serve.

babolat should turn it around and show how durable the racket was to withstand her repeated slamming it on the ground. so durable she couldn't tell it was going to break in two on the next stroke...

I've never seen those two, or anyone else (except for that McEnroe Video), break a racquet in the middle of a point.

It looks like Radwanska's video is about to go viral....

NOt a good endorsement IMO. Who would want to play with a racquet which gives no indication of failure and just gives way without warning?

I saw the vid first and then came here. It makes sense that she had already broken it.

She knew there were cracks in it. She didn't want to change it because she had already been warned and didn't want to get a point penalty.
