Rafa has had 2 main rivals. Federer and Novak.

Did Federers wins over Nadal make you think Rafa will not beat him again?
Or are you like me feeling pretty relaxed about it and are more worried for Novak coming back strong as ever?

Both. Either player at their normal level is a handful on non clay surfaces.

I think Nadal fans only fear another injury setback. That has been Nadal's biggest obstacle throughout his career. When he's healthy and builds momentum, he's unstoppable... Until the next injury :( Hopefully he will be lucky for the rest of his career without injuries and fulfill his true potential.

    Djokovic, for two reasons:
    - He can beat Nadal at his own game, which Federer can't.
    - Even if Nadal can win, for the injury-prone Nadal such grueling victories can be pyrrhic.

Ive come to the point I cant watch them play each other anymore :(
When it comes to Fed I want them to play so Rafa can get his revenge (Bet Rafa not as cold dark hearted than me and think of revenge though :p)

I do feel that if Nadal is confident he can beat both.

Against Federer, there are lots of times where federer can take the racquet out of your hands. And you can't do anything about it. Especially with the serve and forehand.

With Djokovic, it's just depends who's got the better groundies on the day and who takes it to their opponent more.

With the current situation, I'm probably more afraid of federer. I don't think Djokovic can return to 2015 level. I can see him winning a GS again. But just not at the same level. That's why I feel that.

Probably more worried about Nole - only based on the fact Fed will be 36.5 by the time the next grand slam comes around - Fed can't actually go on forever!

My sense is Nole is going to have a serious come back next year...

I'll be happy as long as Rafa stays injury free and healthy but that is unlikely looking at past history....

At this point it's Djokovic since Federer will be to old next year to pose a consistent threat.

Of course if I could choose Rafa to play Fed or Novak tomorrow, I would choose Novak. But Novak injury free in form Ill choose Federer 10 out of 10 times regardless of surface.

Lol is this a serious question? Of course Djokovic...no one has given Rafa more pain and tougher battles than Djokovic. Add to the fact he actually has a winning record against Rafa. Before this year I put Rafa as the favourite in every one of his matches against Federer

In all honesty and objectivity, The Great Djokovic is the most fearsome opponent Rafael Nadal Perera has ever faced. I'm a fan of both, obviously a much bigger fan of The Beast tho'.

I also like the matches of Rafa with Muzziah, but the Rafa-Federer rivalry is more iconic and popular and more classic for obvious reasons

Outside of when Nadal went AWOL in 2015-2016(when everyone was beating him, not just Djoker), there isn't much difference between the two. Djoker had a run against Nadal in 2011. Fed had a run against him this year. Beyond that, it was usually fairly routine against both of them, especially in slams.

To be quite fair, in slams, Djokovic hasn't done much much better than Federer against Nadal. 9-4 vs 9-3, with one of the wins against 2015 Nadal.

Federer too has given Nadal many many battles.

He did beat Rafa in 3 consecutive finals though and has also beaten him at the French (albeit Rafa at his worst). I just think with Fed Rafa always has had the trusty tactic of going to his backhand and it has worked mostly until this year. With Novak, there wasn't any part of the game he could attack. He needed his DTL Forehand to be working at its maximum to get the better of him when both were playing well

Yes, Djokovic has dominated Nadal like Federer could only dream of doing.

However, both would be helpless at RG against a well playing Nadal.

And I wouldn't say outside of clay that Federer would be more helpless than Djokovic. He does lead Nadal on HC and grass. Generally their HC and grass matches have been close.

Federer has a slight lead over Nadal on Hard Courts and Grass. Djokovic has mostly dominated Nadal in the Hard Courts in the past few years.

Djokovic. I never knew what I was gonna get against Djokovic between 2012-2014 after the 2011 massacre and I never felt like that against Federer.

There are times where Djokovic just straight up massacres Nadal, like Doha 2016.
