Now that he is 2-0 up in semis. Nadal is a set away from the final..Stan will bend over his master without winning a set as usual giving Rafa his 14th slam. It is safe to say that Rafa wins RG as well. The only guy who has a 10% chance to beat him is Djokovic and he is struggling to win big matches. Rafa has high chances at Wimbledon and USO as well. By the end of next year Rafa will break Fed's slam count and with the dominant H-H he has against Fed he will be anointed the new GOAT. VAMOS Rafa :)
 
I'm a huge Rafa fan, but, you are being ridiculous. Nobody knows what the future holds. We wish for the best but we can only wait and see what happens. That's the beauty of life, nobody knows tomorrow and nothing is guaranteed.

I'm a big Rafa fan. Even if he does break the record, he will never be GOAT, Nobody is. Please stop this stupid GOAT thing

I am being realistic sir otherwise I would have said Rafa will win a calendar grand slam. Who is going to stop him anyway? He is not going to lose early at Wimbledon this year thats for sure. Except Djokovic nobody has a realistic chance to take him down at a major.
 
Being a ardent Fed fan I dont have any qualms in saying Rafa is the GOAT. I love fed's playing style but Rafa's fighting spirit is at another level.
 
Sportsman are worshiped for their fighting spirit because they took the place of soldiers/gladiators in the modern world. The one with the best mental game will go down as the greatest in the history books. At the end of the day people drive inspiration from sportsman and no matter how beautiful your game is, if you cant inspire people with your fighting spirit you are not the greatest. Period.

Exactly. That need to anoint a GOAT is so immature.

Guess it hurts though if you believe that it actually exists.

We have three possible all time greats in our era and some people can't even enjoy it for trying to assign superiority.

Ridiculous.
