Is that going to be the RG edition PA paint for this year? Not really feeling it, just my personal opinion/taste. Last RG version I liked was for the APD back in 2013 that was more red overall.

What do Rafa's racquets (specially designed&made for him by his sponsor) have to do with the ATP Tour sponsors ??
Babolat has designed&made racquets for Rafa since 2004, and will continue to do so.

Secondly, Grand Slam tournaments are not ATP events.

I misspoke. Edited previous post, I meant Wilson is the RG sponsor now, so they cannot produce RG branded products.

Thanks, yeah makes sense. I almost forgot Wilson is taking over this year from Babolat. I'm surprised though that thre isn't a Spain flag PA put yet. I saw US, Japan and France. Even a Boost version flag racquet for Italy and Brazil!

I like the orange portion.. Replace the current mustard yellow with a decent shade of orange...that would rock..

Not just babolat either All of them mostly ..It’s like they get together and try to find the most embarrassing crass pj they can muster . Almost to tempt fate and say watch this guys . This “ racquet “ is so good the consumer will buy it no matter what

Personally, I think it's pretty unique, and that's why Rafa likes it. I wonder if he'll be swinging it when the tour resumes later this year. Cheers.

I would definitely buy. The Pure Aero is an awesome racquet, and that PJ is dope. I was thinking it was gonna be a RG paintjob, like La Decima.

The rumor was that Rafa was pretty taken with the racquet with the new paint job and he was set to start using it at Indian Wells. With Indian Wells and everything else cancelled, it delayed it from a possible Spring release. So it looks like now early 2021 with fingers crossed just in case. I agree with you. I think it's awesome.

I totally agree. I would love that. I also think it would be a huge seller, especially if he takes the slam lead of finishes as the leader. Only time will tell.

I would love an apd 1st gen release similar to the head MG radical, like it’s always sold. However they could either keep it at the pure aero price or drop it some.

I'm totally with you. I think it would be a great idea for Bab, just because I think so many people would love to pick these up. So many people would play with them and many would collect in my opinion.

Not sure if you will find a use for 10 racquets with a SW of 360, but it certainly would be a collector's item...

I would like one with Rafa’s specs but I rather have the standard version reissue. If I do end up buying 10, I would use only 4 and like you said, the rest would be collector’s items.
