You do know that it’s still the CB4.3 that’s underneath the ZC3/4 upper right? The AM bag is covered with the midsole.

even his cage 4 had a completely different mold to them. Interesting how he is still using the old ballistec sole design pattern on his hard court shoes.

Why Nike put mock Cage 3 upper for Rafa? They can opt to put mock up Cage 4 upper to promote the current model mass release shoe.

Odd. I hated the 3s but absolutely love the 4s. (For wearing, not for the look)

Even in the same size, my 3s are much narrower than my 4s, and 3s are a lot stiffer. My 3s seem much much much more durable though (the narrowness caused me to give up on them well before I would've worn them out, but they are built like a tank). The 4s, like almost all other tennis shoes I've tried in the past 20 years, blow out on the sides at the base of my pinky toe in about 6-8 months.

I wish Reebok still made the late-90s Changs. Haven't had a pair of shoes that are both comfortable and durable since I played with those in high school.

I liked both the Cage 3 and the Vapor Cage 4s. Cage 3 was a bit too narrow for my liking though, agreed, so I had to wear a half size larger. The other downside with the 3s was that the sole under the heel was a bit short, so if you had to stretch out and land hard on your heel on hard court, there was a chance that there would be insufficient cushioning and you'd essentially smash your heel into the floor (as I found out the hard way).

The 4s feel like a giant sock, I absolutely love them. Haven't felt this comfortable in tennis shoes since the CB 2.3s.

He’s always wore socks that’s larger/longer for his feet. He either cuff or scrunch them but I think it’s for personal preference rather than some sort of cushioning.

Feel like the Cage 3's don't have a massive cult following like some of the Vapors, they probably should though

vapors have had more stock historically for people to keep finding and obsessing over - anyone that i know that have used the cage 3 all day the same thing - can’t find another shoe as good

Volt is fine, but all the black is ridiculous. And white socks with black shoes is just a complete no. Wouldn't do it with dress shoes? Doesn't look any better with sneaks.

I think now that babolat has given nadal a really nice color pallete with the pure aero rafa - nike should avoid super saturated colors in any adverse of those colors

Agreed. I actually own a ton of Rafa gear. Similar complexions.

Is enough of that color... every year we have at least one set including volt or some close shade of it, repetitive and boring. That shirt with the purple used on Dimitrov shirt or even in the same turquoise color on the elastic band of the sample shorts of this line would add a bit more flare than volt.
I might be a little bit worried if the missmatched socks shows that nike is having problems with suplies even for pro's
