Party time!
Is this actor's head really that big, or has it been blown up?

Raonic not fazed! This kind of stuff pissed me off. He isn't fazed by that, but had Djokovic hit that fhdl, it'd have fazed Raonic. I don't understand. It's like these guys pick and choose who to be intimidated by. How about being intimidated by no one?

Can Raonic do the same thing he did in Miami? Lost the first set in similar fashion but then got tight for the next two sets and won them. Not very likely though

Raonic getting stronger as the match progresses. I'm afraid it might go down the same road as their previous encounter this year.
Prove me wrong Raf!

Nadal lightly punched his right upper thigh thrice. Yes yes yes it might be nothing and just frustration rather than suggesting some sort of muscle soreness or mild injury, but let's see. His attitude has changed a bit.

I expect him to close this in straights. He'll have time to rest.

For me it looked like he hit himself because of the disappointment of not getting the 2nd serve back

The serve saving Raonic somewhat, with his form off the ground deteriorating.

This is what pisses me off about guys like Raonic. They suddenly find their potential when facing Rafa or Roger. It's the same on the women's tour. Everyone is suddenly "good" - "playing the game of her life" - when facing Serena.

Raonic's level has been nothing special and he's a top-ten player. Rafa has only been slightly better than Raonic this year, and the match appears to be headed to a Nadal victory where he is slightly better than Raonic. It's a good match between two solid top-ten players with the slightly better player winning the match.

Definite improvements, and a top-ten win.

Nadal's first win against a top-ten player on HC since he beat Federer in the 2014 AO.
