Finally Nadal coming across someone with substance even though DelPo is coming out of a major injury...Hope DelPo can fight through his injury to overcome Nadal.

No doubt the ball is on Pony boy's strings. Nadal has no control in the outcome of this match.

You're the only one saying this nonsense. Rafa was pumped up, jumping all over after his win over Karlovic. He's also got a day to rest, now. Fatigue obviously won't be a factor.

Unless he suffers an injury during his match, like in Australia, he's fine.

Well technically he's playing dubs today! None of that for Delpo. I think it's better that Nadal doesn't get walkovers in later rounds. He cools down too quickly. Keeping the momentum going is the best strategy for him.

Del potro is capable of blowing nadal off the court in straight sets. But I've been watching his game lately and he has quite some way to go until he is at full fitness.

Go look at their H2H. Nadal has also blown Delpo off the court a couple of times.

LOL. Nice fanboy knee-jerk reaction. The guy said Del Potro is "capable" of blowing Nadal off the court; that is all he said and he is 100% correct. Hilariously insecure you are.

It's like if anyone says something that questions nadal's greatness arguments kick off.

It's the same with Fed, no? It's useless pointing out ****ism, because there is no top player who doesn't have at least one **** on this board. Not to mention most of the people that point fingers are just as guilty of it.

In other news, I won't be able to catch this match live :(
Plz win Rafa! Thanks :)

It's going to be epic, no matter the outcome.

Even if Delpo gets bagel'd in straights, he'll put up a huge fight, there will be some great rallies.

Rooting for JMDP, but he's not gonna "just do enough to win" against Nadl. If he somehow won, the talk gates would flood. It is a great test for DePo, to see where he really is.

The final against Djokovic will a tough one for either of them. Del Potro will get crushed 0 and 1 against Djokovic. Nadal has the best possible chance to stop Djokovic.

Excellent... Nadal is playing Delpo in the heat of the day, tomorrow! ... at 11am, first match on the stadium

Immediately followed by Federer/Djokovic

No night matches

What time is the Federer - Djokovic match? A night match would suit Djokovic better. If it is a night match, Federer won't win more than 3-4 games. Day match will help Federer win a game or two more.

Every semifinalist is a grand slam winner :)

Doesn't get much higher quality than this

Replace Del Potro with Murray, and I would agree.

Murray can't even beat Donald Young right now

Losing to Donald Young doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Champions go through setbacks, similarly to what happened to Nadal in 09 (he came back winning three slams last year), Federer in 08 (came back winning 3 slams between 09/10). They bounce right back.

Murray will do the same thing. I will laugh when Young loses in some challenger first round while Murray wins his first slam title some time this year.

Delpo matches up well against Nadal, and I don't think Nadal has been playing his best. I pick Delpo in a tight three sets.
