It does not matter what form nadal is in either at this point on clay. There is a thing called aura. Things just go nadals way now he is so entrenched on clay. Esp in Paris.

Nadal doesn't need the aura, he just needs Roland Garros court central, its got more space behind the baseline than any court in tennis, and its bouncier than Monte Carlo.
Those 2 factors are exactly what Nadal enjoys most.
In the Monte Carlo semi-final, at 3-3 in first set Djokovic took more than 10 minutes to hold serve.
Would he have held serve if that was at Roland Garros? No.
In the 2nd set, at 3-3 Nadal was up 40-0 but got broken.
Would Djokovic still have broken him at Roland Garros? No.
