You have a pretty annoying attitude. Did anyone manage to tell you that before you ignored them?
You got that right! I was thinking who else would get it.
Oh boy.Nick Kyrgios, tennis’ new bad boy, is so toxic Rafael Nadal was reluctant to play with him in doubles on Wednesday at the John McEnroe Tennis Academy’s charity event, according to a source.
Something that's really interesting on these forums is that the fans of Nadal are COMPLETELY unlike Nadal himself. Nadal is such a nice and well behaved guy. Never throws his racket, never curses. But these fans of Nadal support the like of Kyrgios and like it when players are badboys and foul-mouthed. Now those people are actually surprised that Nadal doesn't agree with Kyrgios' behavior? How could you not have expected that already? What did you think Nadal was gonna say? "Yeah I think tennis is too boring now. More people should throw tantrums on the court, have fights and gossip about each other. Never mind that I've never done something like that even once."?
I'm surprised it takes something like this for people to gain respect for Rafa. He's always been a good guy.
Bull standing up for humanity once again.

The more you see of Nadal, the more there is to admire about him.
What the hell are you talking about? I very rarely post anything about Federer. Guess having facts bothered you.

Did you read the article?
Yes, what are you trying to say?

My apologies, mate, if it wasn't you.

That's a fib Pinocchio! You're frequently taking digs at Federer.
You've got it right. She often makes negative remarks about Federer and likes other people's comments who do same. In addition, she's one of those fans who complains when any journalist says anything positive about Federer. She's notorious that one.![]()
Oh please. In 2010 at the USO Verdasco was #8 in the world and had been Top 10 or just a couple places out of it for two or three years. He was a great player. Youzhney was #14 and had beaten Wawrinka to get to Rafa. It was hardly a cakewalk for Rafa.
In 2013, his draw wasn't much better. He beat #19 Robredo who had beaten Federer. Gasquet was #9 when he met Rafa. Again, that wasn't an easy draw, but I know you yahoos like to denigrate everything Rafa has done. I could certainly go back and find easier draws that Federer has had.
Why in the world are Fed fans tearing their hair out? He's got as easy a draw as he could have hoped for in a slam. Of course you're going to start running into tough players by the quarters and semis - everybody is. PMac and Cahill were both saying that they thought Federer and his team were probably doing happy dances over the draw. Djokovic also got lucky for the first three rounds so he'll be fresh as a daisy for when they get down to the nitty gritty. Besides which the seedings seldom stand up and there are always some upsets and tough matches can become very easy.
From yesterday.

There there BreakPoint. It'll be ok. Federer will win again some day. **pats BP'shead**
They come to see me because they want to see beautiful tennis.
Federer at the US Open
What's up with Drysdale and PMac giving Federer levels of adoration to Djokovic? It's positively vomit inducing.
I don't give a rat's ass if Nadal did it or not, it's his right to refuse to play with Kyrgios. What I find hilarious is how you can't see how utterly ridiculous your double standards are.
Ha ha.
All you have to do is a quick search and you find some Federer gems from her.
That was just a very quick search. I don't know whom she thinks she is kidding.![]()
I wasn't even aware that she posted yesterday, but I thought that IF she did Federer's name would be there.

Wow. How pathetic. I notice you deleted the dates on those posts. Was it because they're several years old? Couldn't find anything more recent to back up your lies? Probably 99% of my posts are about Rafa because I really don't care about Federer and any reference to him is about how sad his fans are, rarely about him himself. But carry on. Your grudge goes back about five years and you still can't accept that I pwned you in the old Nadal thread.
I agree with you about the other guys too, except for Federer being thoughtful. Don't think there's much depth there.
Of course Wertheim would say that. He's been the president of the Federer Fan Club for many many years and his level of worship for the guy is embarrassing for a supposed professional journalist. He's bestowed almost the same level of biased worship on Djokovic in the last few years because Djokovic has been able to beat Nadal whom Wertheim hates because of his dominance over Federer. This prediction is just more same old same old.
So, you read this:
"Nadal and Kyrgios, who is from Australia, were supposed to be in the doubles match at Sportime on Randall’s Island, but the lineup was rearranged"?
Nadal always has the balls to stand up for his principles, unlike a certain other elegant player who cares only about money.
Wouldn't you do it for the money? I would.
Accuse sureshs of inconsistency? I never..Classic sureshs. Couple of days ago, regarding Nadal doing underwear ads:
lol...you are so mean...kick the man while he is lying next to the gutter...funny though...True.
I used to think Nadal would do anything to win. I was wrong.
No, they're not recent and no, there are very very few of them, mostly because I can't be bothered to get into senseless arguments with Fed fans. I can't be bothered because I really don't care about Federer except to enjoy when Nadal lays another whomping on him.I didn't delete the dates on purpose. I did a very quick search for your negative Federer posts. I didn't have to go far and they are all fairly recent. Your posts over the years have been filled with Federer hate/resentment. It's a joke that you try and deny it. It would be like me trying to say my posts are filled with adoration for Djokovic's on court demeanor. Why would I try to lie about it?
If I do another quick search I can find many more:
It's also true that you are notorious for tweeting and emailing complaints to journalists such as Wertheim whenever they give the slightest praise to Federer. It's obvious it's you. You don't even try to hide your identity. Do you think everybody is stupid in the world?
As for pwnage in the Nadal thread a few years ago, it's the other way around. Just as I am doing now, I successfully proved that you criticized Federer frequently. Either you are being intentionally obtuse or you have amnesia? Anybody can go back and check your posts. It's all right there. Try harder next time.

No you can't, because they don't exist and as noted, they rarely (not never, but rarely) diss Fed. Now his fans, that's a different matter because I'll certainly admit to having occasionally commented on the lala'ness of their worship.
Notorious???? That's a hoot. In over six years I've tweeted a total of barely 1000 times and the vast majority of them had nothing at all to do with Federer and even more, nothing to do with tennis. I've never emailed Wertheim. Pray tell who this infamous identity is.
I just went back and looked at some of the half dozen 'horrendous' posts about Federer and if that's what you're basing your diatribe on, wowzers. There wasn't one that said anything half as nasty about Federer as is posted hundreds of times a day about Nadal. Your precious has been safe from me.![]()
That was the point. The article is wrong. Nadal was NOT supposed to play doubles according to the schedule posted on the official website of JMTA which I linked. Shoddy journalism but hardly surprising.
Off the court, yes.I'm surprised it takes something like this for people to gain respect for Rafa. He's always been a good guy.

Lest this goes unnoticed, for just one major correction: don't throw all "fans" on the same pile-of-vile.Something that's really interesting on these forums is that the fans of Nadal are COMPLETELY unlike Nadal himself.
The problem going on here is that a lot of these "fans" appear to believe the marketing/hype (hence the silly "bull"-stuffNadal is such a nice and well behaved guy. Nick Kyrgios, tennis’ new bad boy, is so toxic Rafael Nadal was reluctant to play with him in doubles on Wednesday at the John McEnroe Tennis Academy’s charity event, according to a source.
Nadal and Kyrgios, who is from Australia, were supposed to be in the doubles match at Sportime on Randall’s Island but the line-up was rearranged. Nadal, the Spaniard seeded eighth at the US Open, instead played a singles match against Aussie Lleyton Hewitt. The doubles featured John McEnroe and Kyrgios versus Patrick McEnroe and Jonas Bjorkman.
That John McEnroe invited Kyrgios in the wake of his unspeakable behaviour speaks to the ying-yang of the Aussie’s career. He’s still got a huge upside, making his behaviour even more intriguing. His serve is blistering, he’s supremely athletic and everyone is waiting for his grand slam breakthrough.
The ATP has hit Kyrgios with a series of sanctions after his on-court incident with Stan Wawrinka in Montreal when he told the Swiss player his girlfriend was being “banged’’ by his Aussie compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis. The remark was caught on tape.
When a question was asked to Nadal about Kyrgios on Wednesday, McEnroe stepped in to answer.
After winning in doubles, Kyrgios only accepted one question about the incident.
“It’s over now,’’ Kyrgios said. “Everyone’s moved on from it. And I’m playing really good tennis. It’s part of the journey. I don’t think anyone was perfect when they were 20. It wasn’t the best thing. But I learned from that and keep maturing every day.’’
In Montreal, Nadal ripped Kyrgios, who stunned him at Wimbledon in 2014 to explode onto the scene.
“I don’t understand very well why he said that,’’ Nadal said. “It is completely unnecessary. It is out of what a tennis match should be. Age is not an excuse. It’s just about respect. He was wrong.’’
When Kyrgios was introduced to the crowd, the P.A. announcer stated: “He’s been in the news lately. He could’ve easily passed on tonight’s event but did it for the kids.’’
McEnroe said he believes Kyrgios tanked a Wimbledon match against Richard Gasquet. His ranking is 38th and McEnroe, a former bad boy himself, admits the kid with the multi-hued Mohawk has “charisma”.
“One thing I can’t condone is watching any player, throwing the towel for a period,’’ McEnroe said. “He tanked a game against Gasquet. He sort of denied it, but it was obvious that he did. He’s having such issues right now. The pressure’s getting to him. As a 20-year-old kid, I did my share of dumb things, inappropriate things at times. The good part is I had people that I looked at.’’
The top guys' PR-managers seem to have convinced them of taking a hard stance to Kyrgios' actions. Federer, Djokovic and Nadal have all clearly spoken out against his actions, as far as I remember. This is just another example of that, in my opinion.
I won't believe it unless you post dailymail next.
Nadal wouldn't be having dealings with the whole tour if accusations of time wasting worried him that much.
