Rafael Nadal reveals he has a "fluid relationship" with Roger Federer, says they talk "very often"

Yea he was up 5-3 in the tiebreak and lost the next two points on forehand errors. He probably should have ended it there, and was similiar to their match at 2013 RG in reverse, but it did make for a great and dramatic final set.
Not only just in the tiebreaker but also in the body of the set, there was a fantastic display of muggery by nole.
I mean how many times do we se nole missing 3 consecutive break points on a slow plexi?? 3-4 0-40 nadal serving...

Come January, the Novak will surpass their Slam Count and no one will talk about them anymore. So they are huddling together for sympathy.

You can imagine them getting together and being all icey at the start, but after a couple of drinks on the zoom, they’d loosen up and start briitching about EVERYTHING. But it would mainly be about the 1% problems like the help and obviously pretending like they’re over Novak.

Djokovic never beat peak Federer at Hardcourt slams, and never beat anywhere near peak Nadal at RG.
So you are saying Fed wasn't peak at AO 2008 but was peak in USO 2008.Great -in a single year being peak at one HC slam but not in the other-that s called hypocrisy.I agree for Nadal but only GS Novak have defeat peak Nadal at Masters something Fed have never done.

Well I don't think Djokovic has ever played a bad AO final (so far) but I think most would say 2015 would be the one at the bottom of totem pole because it just felt like he was on autopilot at times. I definitely don't think it was a bad performance by any means but falls short of years like 2011, 2012 and 2019.
2020 was a pretty bad final from him for his standards. Definitely his weakest.
