hes gonna win a ghrand slamm for sure..no?

hahahahah

Nadal/fed/novak all troll Murray when they beat him in slams.

he's becoming their little brother....better than the rest, but never better than THEM, lol....

someday, maybe, he'll grow up and prove them wrong:)

Congrats to Nadal for reaching his 5th Wimbledon final, better luck next time Andy, your mental game needs work more than your tennis game(which is brilliant IMO).

Hmmmm his FH has been shaky to say the least. Shameful performance. Andy remains one of my favorites but he played this match with no soul.

It's up to Djokovic now to destroy Nadal, he's the new world #1 and perfect time to make a statement.

As for Murray, it's sad for him but he'll never win a major. I appreciate his game but time to leave place for Del Po.

If Rafa hits his inside out forehand as well as he did today, he should win the final.

Not too sure the Djoker will give him a lot of inside out forehands.A lot of c/c or dtl I think.Djoker is the only one who has changed his MO.He is the only one with a clear game plan against Nadal.

Destroy Nadal? I don't think anyone has destroyed Nadal on tour since he was about 15.Even then he was no pushover.

I really hope Rafa gets his revenge on Novak on Sunday. Federer paid him back at the French. Hopefully Rafa pays him back here.

His FH was great(along with his serve, BH and netplay)untill he missed that FH sitter in the 2nd set when he just started to meltdown. I still maintain that his problem is that he can't handle the pressure mentally, his game itself is fantastic.

From the AP:

WIMBLEDON, England -- Rafael Nadal overcame a left foot injury to reach the Wimbledon final by beating Andy Murray 5-7, 6-2, 6-2, 6-4 on Friday.

I have to admit he played some awesome tennis in the first set.

It's unfortunate he lost his way as the match went on.

Now Rafa gets a resurgent Nole in the final.

I thought Andy did well there, too, and I was glad for him. He's immensely talented...it's why the other three really can't - and don't - consider him outside their circle. And he's beaten them all at one time or another, for sure.

Rafa's in his prime, though. It's tough to beat him in his prime. Djoker's got game, but I honestly don't think that even he will take Rafa down on grass.

We'll see! Sunday will be extra fun to watch.

I hope so too. Nadal needs to get himself fired up for the final like he has with his other major finals. Then he'll be able to rest at last.

Im going to be completely on the edge of my seat. If Rafa wins the first set I can relax a little at least. If Novak wins the first set, it's going to look bad for Rafa.

The good thing about Nadal is that he always delivers. Unlike some players (Murray, Agassi, even Federer), you always know he is going to give a good effort on the court and give the opponent a run for their money.

He played amazing today, if we forget the tragic game he where he got broken in the first set. Also, his serve could have been better early in the match. other than that. Spectacular tennis.

Congrats to Rafa. Andy, a mental flaw. Your level was excellent at the start, EXCELLENT, but you missed one shot and let it get to you. More than that, you did not properly regroup at the start of the 4th set, you allowed your slump to carry on across 3 sets. How on earth you going to win a best of 5 match if you let that happen?
By the end you were once again the player we know you can be, but the middle of that match was very poor.

Well Novak is just on another level, I don't think Rafa can ever afford to be behind a set against Novak. He will get tight mentally, and Novak will start swinging more freely.

You're worrying too much. Nadal will stay out there all day if he has to. This is IT!

I'm a bit worried too mustard, mostly about the mental thing. Andy's level fell big time in set two and then once Rafa felt it he came charging it. He needs to feel in control with Novak. I know he can beat him, I just hope there are not mental lapses.

It's not only you it's for Nadal too. Absolutely crucial. He desperately needs something (a smidgeon of hope) to make himself believe and try forget the nightmares against Novak throughout this year.

He's lost the last 6 sets against Nole. So If he wins set 1 in the final, he could break that trend and hopefully it could spur him to play his best tennis, which should be enough to beat Djokovic - since Nadal is a better grass court player regardless of how Novak is playing.

That said, if Nadal loses set 1, it will be extremely hard to expect a comeback like today for 2 reasons. One, Djokovic is too solid and won't let his intensity drop off like Murray. Second, Nadal's self-belief would get hurt, and it would be easy to let the shoulders drop..

Anyway expecting a great final!

Why are people still going on about those 4 losses? It's history, and none of them were in majors. This is the ONE!

I feel the way you do, but I also think Nadal can let things creep into his mind easily sometimes. I'm not saying he will, but winning the first set will def. be important, and it's not just because it's Djokovic.

Well Nadal has won twice at Wimbledon and defended his FO result. He the one in form....Djokovic is the underdog!

Though with Djokovic getting World Number one.....he might play with less pressure!

You are too funny.

Well, if you thought Nadal would still win after losing set 1 and being down in his service game at 15-30 (which is when I posted this), you must have a lot of belief :)

Good job by Nadal though, and Murray lost it in the middle of the match.

Absolutely. This match was a perfect illustration of that... he plays brilliantly, then makes one mistake and immediately gives up. It's self-destructive perfectionism, and he needs someone who knows how to knock that out of people. As soon as possible, please. He should've done it years ago, but I don't think there can be any denial about it anymore, after today.

Dude, learn to have some faith. For heaven's sake you are supporting Rafael Nadal, not some random player who can't fight !

A coupla years back I wrote that Murray hated his errors more than he loved his winners, and that he had to change that mindset. It came back to haunt him again today. He's been playing great. Miss a forehand? Never mind. Get the next one. You're on serve, game on. But no, he collapsed, consumed by the one thing he'd done wrong in the match up to that point.

Exactly. It's excruciating to watch.
