Right. That was a type I meant the Pro drive.
sorry tennis Fan 3 but the racquet is still The Aeropro Drive, the reason he is using black strings is that he has been testing hurricane black for ages as the paint job on the racquet changed for 2010 and the whole aero family of racquets are the same colour. It makes sense to change now.
I don't believe he has changed the actual racquet just the paint job.
Nadal has been resistant to change and I did make a joke about that earlier and to the op that it was duralast painted black but that was it .
Babolat have been working on this new pro hurricane black string for over 12months, they have been encouraging Rafa to use it for ages. It plays obviously different to the Duralast but he seems to have adjusted. Roddick had less problem because he hybrid strings with VS and has a totally different game.
Looks like he changed. You don't have to believe me just ask babolat or better still check the string room at the Oz Open! It will all come out in course of the year.
Of course it doesn't really matter, playing the racquet or string won't make anybody play like rafa!

I don't play with Duralast myself personally. But there's another thread here and people who play with Duralast say that the string is Duralast given the way it reflects light. It's definitely not a PHT. I don't know if Rafa will ever switch to that..
