Rafa's doctor: Nadal should be ready for Olympics

So says moonballer fan incapable of defending any title outside clay. You sure shud be bored.... Errrrrr sorry excited on the prospect of another early round exit

Nadal's shoes are more exciting than Djokovic's tennis.

I'd be a bitter little ultronian too. Props on the upcoming inevitable calendar slam.

Lol, you don't get to see those shoes even for the second round in majors. How laughable

So the only reason djokovic is dominating is because the only players of his caliber are old? Guau

Nope, their performance gave gone downhill ever since biological passport was introduced.

Oh you can say it's due to this or that, I don't care. We both know he has no competition. All I'm saying is he is TOO GOOD to NOT be beating the guys on tour, it's not an insult if you're older than 14. If someone says anything other than Djokovic could beat God himself, ultronians start crying hate.

What else can you say now that nadal had become useless? Oh wait you have his shoes to look forward to.... Cool. Enjoy while it lasts till 2nd round in a major and you wait will continue until next major ;)

Lol weeeeeak, come at me harder than "omg you're bored bc nadal is declining" well no ****! lol
You realize I like Venus just as much, who has been in full decline for over 5 seasons? I can handle a player not being who they were in 2007. I need you to do better if you want a reaction.

Even if that is the truth, it still doesn't take anything away from Djokovic's incredible achievements over the last 12 months.
How can they be incredible when the toughest competition he faced is well behind him??.. sorry people want excitement and Djoko will never deliver

Because you still have to go out there and get the job done. People seem to really underestimate how much preparation, discipline and sheer hard work goes into winning such a vast amount of big titles over a relatively short period of time. The overriding impression I get from certain posters on here since Djokovic's win last Sunday is that it's somehow better to win 3/4 majors in a "strong" era than it is to win all 4 in a "weaker" one but this is quite clearly ridiculous. As I've said a million times before, the record books, which Novak has now very definitely cemented his name into, couldn't care less about a player's competition, only his numbers.

As for his actual game, unless someone is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to watch his matches you really have no cause to complain about the level of excitement he brings.

That first paragraph sums up exactly how I feel, but I still get the army of one.

This whole back and forth, I believe, started over excitement... but the Novak fans always steer things into the "incredible and otherworldly" achievements of the past year. Guess what, Nadal and Federer already did pretty much everything Novak's achieved (with exceptions of holding the slams in a row). They really have nothing else to prove. What's left are the emotions and excitement they brought us... But man Novak falls way short.

BMW is just sad his Keep calm no trophy pics make no sense anymore. :D

Also, unlike the sportsmanship award (that should be renamed "Roger Federer popularity award"), it's the facts (i.e. achievements) and not the opinions (i.e. strong era/weak era) that go into the record books. The record books don't care if Agassi is more popular than Lendl, if McEnroe is more interesting than Borg, if Borg is classier than Connors, or indeed if Federer and Nadal are more popular than Djokovic.

This too. But alas, it's hard to be as exciting as Nadal.

Now you're just being silly by saying that Novak falls way short when he himself has been involved in so many classic matches with Fedal over the years. I understand you strongly dislike him but you should never allow that to affect your objectivity in such matters. That just makes you come across as bitter and overly nostalgic over an era long since passed and that's not a good look to have.

Nostalgic yea... i'll give you that one. Sad to see such a great duo fade away. I've mentioned this before, my dislike for Djokovic comes from the early years and all the antics he used to pull. He got his s*** together in 2011 though. What's happening right now (which is him pretty much owning everything and everyone) was bound to happen.

Whatever you do, please don't follow in the footsteps of MN and become the Norma Desmond of TTW - it's sooooooooooo not a good look sweetie. ;)

Someone opened the door... I only responded in the first place because of the litany of disparaging remarks about Federer.

As for the comment, is it not true that Nadal is doing male modeling these days? His nude image is splashed provocatively all over the place. So... he is indeed selling his body. At least Fed's selling tennis.

And as for the person who liked your comment, what's the story @haqqani1777? Did you have something to add?
Nadal has been doing “male modeling” for quite some time now. If Nadal were to engage in “female modeling,” I can see why you might claim cause for concern.

Photoshopped nude images of celebrities are often disseminated on the internet for humor and entertainment. Glad to hear that someone (you) has been keeping up with Nadal’s.

Federer is not selling tennis. He is selling tacky watches, low-grade chocolate that destroys impressionable children’s teeth, and 10-yuan garbage racquets that vary in weight by half a kilo.

And now that you know better, please refrain from disparaging remarks and vicious attacks against forum members who like my posts. They don’t deserve that kind of treatment from the likes of you.

LOL... man you'll never let that go... i agree it was more relevant last year than it is now. I did give credit where it was due though!!!
It's ok man, I don't mind those little occasional jokes actually. :) But since you're questioning how impressive his last 12 months have been and playing the same old excitement card, whatever it means, I think you're the one who needs to "let it go". ;)

ROTFLMAO!!!!!

Mark my words, he will regretfully announce that his rehab didn't go the way he'd hoped, and he'll have to skip the event-but, assuming flag bearer aren't tested, he'll proudly carry Spain's flag.

Be careful with your words, you can be sued.

Why are Nadal fans so excited? He is going to get his *** kicked by some bum in 1st or 2nd round like what has happened in last 2 yrs.

Why the excitement?

Lol, yeah, well there's that. Similar to the excitement of Shriek fans if and when she comes back after HER little "vacation," she hadn't exactly been setting world afire even as it was and, like Nadal, is kind of an old 29.

Putting aside that your cheese has clearly fallen off your cracker if you believe that, he HAS been fined multiple times for being illegally coached, and the truth has a bit of a dampening effect on "libel suits," in case you didn't know.

I'm here to quote you. Enjoy my quotes. Enjoy beat downs by 100+ ranked players as well. You should be exited to see nadal exit time and time again ;)

Oh, yeah, I forgot about that, if he is unable to come back from his "injury," we'll be deprived of seeing a 5th straight year of him getting taken to the woodshed by a player with 3 digits in his ranking, rats!

ROT;)FLMAO!!!!!!! Dat dere is whatcha call a bonecrushing rejoinder.:) I guess it's Novak's fault that certain people merely got "old." Getting yer ass kicked continuously will do that to a fella...

The current argument notwithstanding, the record books aren't everything. People's memories and opinions also count. So yes, it did matter that Borg was (way) classier than Jimmy or that JMac was the more interesting. And Ion Tiriac were more anything than all the rest of them, record books be darned.

Again, this is all without prejudice to the current argument. Tune in in 20 years and it will all be made clear then. Would you like to dare a guess as who'll be the most warmly remembered? Hint: his name rhymes with Dodger. The second most loved? That's the balding guy in the hot underwear.

Couldn't agree more... I remember a certain Novak fan saying the Roger-Rafa rivalry was nothing, when compared to Novak-Rafa. What a joke! Ever seen the HBO doc Fire & Ice (McEnroe v Borg)?? a few years from now we'll be watching the revamp, and it won't be about Novak.

Fans and history remember charisma and excitement as much as records.

Sure, that's why I stated that there's a difference between subjective and objective opinion. While Federer's "class" is something most people agree about, it's still subjective and it can't be measured (there's no measure of class).

Funny that you should mention Borg when talking about charisma, not to mention a high level, butt picking retriever. Who can forget those exciting lawn pulling fist pumps accompanied by bellowing, "Vamos!"

Then why you come to pray for him to lose?
This narativeness like boring , no personality , robot only show t@ards insecurity.
And yes simpeltons , he actually has more personality than Federer Nadal combined. He built it for himself , doesn't need NIke PR mashinery
