You are tracking all that. Really ?
And even though one player managed to win grand slam, you still find it impossible ?
Further more, you actually believe that players like: Srichapan, Hewitt, Muller, Youzhny, Tsonga, Ferrer, Rosol, Darcis, Kyrgios, Berdych, Brown, Fognini, Verdasco and Pouille usually go to finals of grand slams and win them ? :D

Some curse it is.

One of these players definitely does not belong with the others...I'll give you a hint he won his first 2 slam finals and converted in half of them overall.

Props for keeping track. It does look a bit like a curse.
However in your haste to make a point, you don't mention the many players who won the match after giving Nadal a beatdown (Blake USO '05, Gonzalez AO '07, Ferrer USO '07, Murray AO '10, Djokovic FO '15), or even winning the next two matches (El Aynaoui USO '03, Roddick USO '04, Hewitt AO '05, Soderling FO '09). That's 9 who've went on to win the next match, and 14 who haven't.

Consequently, because this world is a logical place, and tennis is the most logical of sports, Pouille has a 9/23 = 39% chance of winning against Zany Guru.

Fair enough. Let us put Hewitt aside and instead put in 21 year old Murray who played his first grand slam final against player who won 12 slams up to that point. :p

Hewitt was 20 years in his first slam final against a player who won 13 up to that point, what happened? ;)

Murray could have played a competitive match if he played at the level of his SF, that's almost the story of his career though in slams :p

Every player has his story. Murray couldn't bloom so early like Hewitt did, Hewitt couldn't make what Murray did in his later years.
This is so irrelevant to this topic because there are no Federer and Djokovic in this "curse" which are real slam champions and Nadal's contemporaries at the same time.

You brought up Murray not me :p

I agree that this 'curse' is a non-starter anyway.

other players have also won matches after denadalizing the draw, even if they didn't end up winning the tournament (soderling, djokovic, murray, roddick, blake, gonzalez, ferrer, el aynaoui)... lucas isn't totally doomed ;)

As quoted in OP :

More surprising is this stat:

Of the 11 player you have knocked out Nadal in R3 or earlier, NOT ONE has won the next 3 matches.
Nadal exhaustion syndrom?

Definitely, Nadal takes a lot of energy out of anyone. After 3 fivers, Pouille will be baked, and not in a good way o_O

It takes a great amount to beat a player like Nadal for sure, but I think there's a bigger (or different) reason for most of the following round losses and it happens most times someone beats an ATG in a slam, not just Nadal. They get the adrenaline pumping to play said ATG, beat him by playing well, and then come back down to earth next match. Some of these instances also have the guy that pulled the upset put back on an outside court with no atmosphere so it's harder for them to get up for their next match.

There's also the fact that if you look at the list in the OP, I'd say everything up until the 2013 Wimbledon upset (Darcis giving Kubot a W/O) shows that the guy that upset Nadal was simply beaten by a better player in the next round (meaning a player with a better overall career than the guy that pulled the upset).

As such, it doesn't seem to me like many of the following losses have much to do with the guy being tired, and if Pouille loses next round it'll be more of a cumulative effect than anything.
