If Federer reaches the Quarterfinals, it will be his 10th Australian Open quarterfinal. He would join Jimmy Connors as the only players with 10 or more quarterfinals at two different Grand Slams. (Amazingly, Federer will also be able to achieve this at the French Open and U.S. Open this year.)

If Federer reaches the Semifinals, he will join Connors (Wimbledon and U.S. Open) and Agassi (U.S. Open) as the only players to appear in 10 semifinals at the same Grand Slam.

If Novak reaches the quarterfinals, he will have reached as many Grand Slam quarterfinals as Nadal - 23.

If Novak reaches the semifinals, he will have reached at least 4 semifinals at all four grand slams. Only Federer, Lendl, and Agassi have achieved this.

I don't understand the last one. Novak has 4 consecutive FINALS at the slams: W 2011, USO 2011, AO 2012 and RG 2012. Doesn't that mean he already got the 4 consecutive semis as well

I think he means that Djokovic will have at least 4 semifinal appearances at EACH slam.
