1973 Nastase 17-4 (3-2 in losses); dropped TBs to Bravo (win), Meiler (loss), Ramirez (loss), Fitzgibbon (win)
Nastase was also 8-4 in extended sets though (many tournaments were yet to adopt tiebreaks), so including them yields 25-8, at 'only' 76%.
1982 Lendl 20-3 (1-2 in losses + 1-0 in extended sets); dropped TBs to Gerulaitis (win), Vilas (loss) and Wilander (loss)
1984 McEnroe 13-2 (1-0 in losses, but 0-1 in extended sets); dropped TBs to Gerulaitis (win) and McNamee (win), also dropped an extended set to Sundström (loss)
The TB dropped to McNamee in Wimbledon 1R was the only set JMac lost there.
1995 Agassi 14-3 (0-3 in losses); dropped TBs to Enqvist (loss) and Becker x2 (loss)
The former loss stopped a potential streak of 7 finals (made 6/7 finals from AO to Atlanta); the latter loss in Wimbledon SF, a well-known choke from 6-1 *4-1 up, looks even more ridiculous given the TB success outside of it (with both TBs being breadsticks, ohlol).
2004 Federer 21-5 (0-2 in losses) - dropped TBs to Henman (loss), Hewitt (win), Karlovic (win), Hrbaty (loss), Baghdatis (win)
The Hewitt TB was the only one Fed won less than 4 points in (1-7).
Telling that all five were in contention for YE #1, though only JMac and Fedr got it in their respective seasons.
Fun fact: Eric Fromm, who went 10-0 in TBs in 1983, is the only player to play 5+ tour level TBs in a single season without losing any. GOAT, no?
