These IMO are the top AO choices.

AO 2017 F: Federer vs Nadal

AO 2009 F: Nadal vs Federer

AO 2009 SF: Rafa vs Verdasco

AO 2013 4R: Djokovic vs Wawrinka

AO 2012 F: Djokovic vs Nadal

AO 2003 QF: Roddick vs El-Ayanouoi

AO 2005 SF: Federer vs Safin

AO 2017 SF: Dimitrov vs Nadal

AO 2012 SF: Djokovic vs Murray

Tough to pick between Safin-Federer 2005 and Djokovic-Wawrinka 2013.

Anyway, the list of all those matches which can even be extended just confirms that Australian Open is the best Major.

My favorite match on that list is Federer/Safin in 2005. The one that gives me the most joy yet makes me tired by just watching is Djokovic/Nadal 2012.

there's probably 5-10 matches which should be on there instead of the 2012 semi. Maybe more.

2012 Semi was a ridiculous match. Should be in there. Better than all 2017 matches and 2003 matches for sure.

You missed out Gasquet Gonzo 09. High quality for a lot of the match & one of the few matches Gasquet played like he should have his whole career. Very aggressive and 1st 2 sets impeccable.

Everyone is going to think I am just sticking up for Hewitt, but the Nalbandian-Hewitt AO 05 encounter has to be up there. Match against Rafa in the round of 16 the same year was great too.

Same. I absolutely love the confidence Fed showed, especially on his BH side and his imperious serving.
